Janina Gasthaus, M.Sc., is Scientific Services Manager and holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioscience and Health (2015, Fraunhofer EMB Lübeck), a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences (2018, BRIC Copenhagen), and a postgraduate degree in Molecular Biology (2020, University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf). Her professional career includes positions as a research assistant at RWTH Aachen University Hospital (2015–2017), as a master's student at BRIC in Copenhagen (2017–2018), and as a research assistant at UKE in Hamburg (2018–2020).

In her current position, she is the central contact person for customers and connects them with the laboratory operations, particularly in the areas of bactericidal and virucidal activity. Her work includes providing scientific advice on efficacy testing, coordinating tests and projects in the routine and GLP areas, managing quotations and orders, and preparing technical documents such as statements and listing documents. She also conducts training courses and gives lectures.
